Vertex Digital Venture LLC, doing business as Vertex Konnect, is an authorized dealer for home internet providers. We are not an internet provider. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, who we give it to, and what you can tell us to do with it.

- How to contact us
1. Who we are
Vertex Digital Venture LLC, doing business as Vertex Konnect. We are an authorized dealer and sales agent for home internet providers. We help you compare the providers available at your address and place an order with the one you choose.
The most important thing on this page: when you order service through us, the provider you choose becomes the company that holds your account, bills you, supplies your equipment and supports it. From that point their privacy policy governs your account with them, not ours. This policy only covers what we do with your information.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address if you give us one.
- Service address: your street address or ZIP code. We need this because internet availability is decided street by street, not city by city.
- What you tell us on the call: what you are looking for, who your current provider is, when you are moving, and anything else you choose to share.
Information created when we help you
- Call recordings and notes (see section 7).
- Order records: what you ordered, from which provider, and when.
- Availability results returned when we check your address against a provider's systems.
Information we do not collect
- We never take or store your card or bank details. If a provider requires payment, you give those details to the provider through the provider's own secure system. They do not pass through us and we do not keep them.
- We do not run a credit check ourselves. If your chosen provider requires one, the provider runs it under its own terms and tells you so.
3. Why we collect it
- To check which providers actually serve your address.
- To talk you through your options and answer your questions.
- To place your order with the provider you choose and arrange delivery of your equipment, or a technician visit where your plan needs one.
- To reach you about that order, including delivery, any technician visit, and follow-up.
- To keep the records our provider agreements and applicable law require us to keep.
- To handle disputes and to demonstrate that you consented to be contacted.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to market unrelated products to you.
4. Who we share it with
- The provider you choose. To place your order we pass them what they need: your name, service address, contact details and the plan you selected. This is the whole point of the service and it is not optional if you want us to order for you.
- Providers we are checking availability with, where checking requires submitting your address to their system.
- Companies that operate our tools: our phone system, our customer records system, and our email. They may only process your information to provide those tools to us, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Legal and safety: where we are required to by law, subpoena or regulator, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- A successor, if the business is sold or merged. We would tell you before your information became subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not give your information to anyone you did not choose, and we do not pass it to other dealers, lead buyers, or marketing lists.
Where our team works
Some members of our team who answer calls, take enquiries and support our operations work outside the United States. They handle your information under the same access controls and the same rules as everyone else, and only for the purposes in this policy. Orders are placed only by our team in the United States.
5. We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law and comparable state laws. We have not done so in the twelve months before the date at the top of this page.
We are paid a commission by the provider when a customer activates service. That is how the business makes money, and it is why our help is free to you. That commission is paid for the sale, not for your data.
6. Calls and texts, and how to stop them
We contact you when you ask us to. When you submit a form or ask us to call you back, you are agreeing that Vertex Konnect may call you about internet offers at the number you gave us. We do not send marketing texts. If that ever changes we will ask for your agreement first, before the first message.
You can stop it at any time, and we will:
- Texts: we do not send them. If we ever do, you will have agreed to it first and replying STOP will end them.
- Calls: tell whoever you are speaking to, or email us at the address in section 15.
- Everything: email us and ask to be removed. We will remove you and confirm.
Consenting to marketing contact is never a condition of buying anything from us. We also honour the National Do Not Call Registry and applicable state do-not-call rules, and we do not make cold calls.
If you have an order in progress, we may still need to contact you about that specific order even after you opt out of marketing. Those are service messages, not marketing.
Our internal Do Not Call list
Ask us once and we stop, permanently. Email hello@vertexkonnect.com or tell whoever you are speaking to, and we add your number to our own Do Not Call list. That list is separate from the national registry, it never expires, and we keep it indefinitely because it is the only way to be certain we keep not calling you. We honour a request within 10 days at the outside, and normally the same day.
We also honour the National Do Not Call Registry and the state registries that apply where you live, and we do not make cold calls. If you asked us to call you, that request is what we are acting on; withdrawing it overrides everything else.
We keep a written Do Not Call policy and will send you a copy on request.
7. Call recording
We record our calls. Recording protects you and us: it is the record of what was actually offered, what you actually agreed to, and what consent you actually gave.
Some states require every party on the call to consent to recording, not just one. Washington is one of them. Rather than work out which rule applies to you, we follow the strictest one on every call: we tell you at the start that the call is being recorded, and you can decline. If you decline, we will either stop recording or continue without it, depending on what we are permitted to do, and we will tell you which.
8. How long we keep things
- Call recordings: two years.
- Order and transaction records: four years. Our provider agreements require us to retain these and to make them available for audit.
- Enquiries that did not become orders: we delete these on request, and otherwise remove them once they are no longer needed.
- Opt-out records: kept indefinitely, because that is the only way to be sure we keep not contacting you.
9. Your rights and how to use them
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and where we got it.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it, except where we are legally required to keep it (see section 8).
- Give you a copy in a portable format.
- Stop contacting you (see section 6).
Email the address in section 15. We will verify who you are before we act, usually by confirming details you already gave us, and we will respond within 45 days. We will not charge you, refuse service, or give you a worse price for exercising any of these rights.
You may use an authorized agent. We will ask for proof that you authorized them.
10. State-specific rights
California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you have the rights in section 9, plus the right to know the categories of personal information we collected, the categories of sources, our business purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to. That information is in sections 2, 3 and 4. You also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined, so there is nothing to opt out of. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. You have substantially the rights in section 9, including the right to appeal if we refuse a request. To appeal, reply to our decision and say you are appealing. If we deny your appeal you may contact your state Attorney General.
Nevada. You may direct us not to sell your personal information. We do not sell it.
11. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers. Nothing on this page is watching you.
12. Security
We restrict access to your information to the people who need it to do their job, we use access controls and encryption in transit, and we require the companies that operate our tools to do the same. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your information we will notify you and the relevant regulators as the law requires.
13. Children
This site and our service are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, email us.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will tell you directly before it takes effect.
